He is Professor of History and Dean of the School of Postgraduate Studies, University of Sierra Leone. He was elected President of the Sierra Leone Adult Education Association (SLADEA) in December 1999. In 2006 Dr Alie was awarded the national title of Commander of the Order of the Rokel (COR), for his contribution to education in Sierra Leone.
He is one of the founding members of SLADEA. He was the association`s National Financial Secretary until 2002 when he was elected National Assistant Secretary for North and Western Sierra Leone. He has also published a play exploring themes of peace and reconciliation – “Mama Sa Lone” – which was staged at the British Council Hall, Freetown.
Edward holds a Masters of Education and a Bachelor of Education from Njala University, Sierra Leone. He has also gained further qualifications in the fields of peace building and conflict resolution. He joined SLADEA in 1998 and was elected National Assistant Secretary for East and South Sierra Leone in 2008.
Abdulai E. Kabba holds a Bachelor of Arts from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone. He became a volunteer at SLADEA in 2005 and was appointed project coordinator four years later.
Samuel holds a Bachelor of Education from the Milton Margai College of Education, Freetown, Sierra Leone. He is also specialized in educational guidance and counseling. He joined SLADEA in 1992 and currently holds the position of the National Project Coordinator.
Abu Bakarr Keindeh holds a Bachelor of Financial Services from IAMTEC, Freetown, Sierra Leone. He joined SLADEA in 2000 and became Head of Finance in 2005.
Delphine Doreenda holds a Certificate in Computer Studies and joined SLADEA in 1993. She is currently staff secretary and is responsible for SLADEA projects.
Beatrice K. Sesay holds a Certificate in Secretarial Studies from the Milton Margai College of Education and Technology, Freetown, Sierra Leone. She joined SLADEA in 2003. Currently she works as a secretary responsible for organizational matters.
